Jazz: Why All The Criticism?
Since its introduction as a style of music in the early 1900s, jazz and the musicians who play it have undergone harsh, uneducated criticism. Most of these critics have based their arguments around race, the style of the music, and the social statuses of the musicians, and have made many assumptions about the music and the musicians that are untrue.
