Just Kickin' It Like A Wild Donkey

So, on April 8, 2008, I got to see three bands in concert.

Elk
Hailing from: Philadelphia, PA

These guys were what I would call softer alternative rock. Nothing too great, really, but they were good nonetheless. The lead guitarist brought his mom to the show, which I thought was cool.

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of these guys, but they were REALLY good. Three part vocal harmonies, great instrument playing all around, and a nice blend of hard and soft rock. I will say that they're better in concert than they are in the studio, which is a first for me.

These guys were, to put it simply, incredible. Over time, they have grown on me. A lot. It's safe to say they're one of my favorite bands, and this concert just reinforced that idea for me. I think it helped a lot that they sounded like a rough studio recording because the sound was so well done. And of course, me being the fanboy I tend to be, here's the setlist:

I'm allergic to that smell :/

Pretty awesome how I get headaches from just a small whiff of it.

Whereas for most people... it usually cures headaches.

Sucks.

I'm not seeing anyone in concert that I know of. I have to save up my money! I will be seeing a local band though, DER in concert soon. :) I think. <_< If I don't forget.
