So i'm sure someone out there is thinking to themselves "What does Seth think of all this °jark stuff? He sure is keeping relatively quiet about it." Well, I try not to open up my mouth about things that I don't know all about. To my own knowledge, our beloved °jark was fired, and did not willingly resign. That's all I know, really.

Now, do I think this is wrong? Only in that he wasn't informed beforehand. To my knowledge, he, like numerous other deviants, woke up with his new symbol placed next to his name and his power stripped like the bark of so many fallen tree trunks. I'm sure it was a very, very big shock to him and probably brought up emotions that had previously not been felt for a while, such as that of great sadness. It caused that for a lot of people. I myself was rather confused and mildly upset. I sadly had to give the news to *dustedbunny, literally, right when she woke up, as she was sleeping not more than 7 feet from me. We spent the day discussing the topic on and off and were both mutually upset.

But what do we do now? The heads of dA are keeping their mouths shut about the situation, and this is causing a great disturbance anywhere we look. Today the front page had all °jark-related art as the Daily Top Favorites. There is definately a lot of love for our resident yellow alien. There's also a lot of speculation about what caused the firing. And also, there is, sadly, a lot of threats towards administrators, even threats of physical abuse towards them. Now, I myself said I wanted to fly to LA and "speak" with $spyed, but that was more of a joke and I would never do such a thing. Honestly guys, there is no need to threaten the life of an administrator over these things. We can't stop these things from happening no matter what we might think.

So, in conclusion, I ask that any deviant reading this journal to simply sit back and wait to hear the explanation from either $spyed or $mccann. They are in charge of the site now, after all. Only they know the reasoning behind all of this. We don't need to send them hateful messages in the mean time, as that's not going to help our situation at all.

So please, my friends, remain docile. If you want to create pro-°jark art and propoganda, and write pro-°jark journals and generally be angry at all of dA, go ahead. But don't get violent.
